Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) includes
Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Chinese Herbs, Tuina Manipulative Therapy, Qi Gong, Tai-Chi and Electro-Acupuncture.
The birth of Chinese Medicine dates back approximately 5000 years and is a very empirical form of therapy – meaning it has been tried and tested for centuries, compared with Western conventional medicine (with its emphasis on drugs) which has only been around for about 100 years, the adverse effects of which cannot be measured in such a short period. Chinese Medicine is based on thousands of years of experience and study.
